    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Compared to the majority of the ENGE 1215 classes, this one in particular with Dr. Knight (and Dr. Lee) took us far beyond the limits of engineering. People in other classes saw engineering as a hassle with programming, ethics, and projects. These professors took us to see the uses of programming, the reasoning of ethics, and the power of projects that are interest-based. They not only gave us real-world examples of engineering, they took us to fields where technology was used, like at a river stream that tested the water as it flowed through. I learned engineering from a hands-on perspective, others learned it through a PowerPoint with meaningless tasks.

    Course highlights:

Projects were interest-based, used programs that were relatable by showing us where and how they were used (MATLAB), understood the importance of ethics in a work-field

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Engage during class; ask questions, respond to questions...class will be more exciting that way

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recomend it because it gave me a glance of what engineering was, at the same time I was already being treated as an Engineer. It motivated me into learning more and it pushed and set my standars very high for the future.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to apply problem solving skills into real- life problems. I learned how to use MATLAB. I learned how to make proper presentations. I learned how to do professional research and present the outcomes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

ABSOLUTELY TAKE IT! Although the name might sound a little bit scary at the begining, give it a try! Get motivated by each assignment and be ready to be treated as a real engineer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is pretty easy as long as you do all of your assignments.

    Course highlights:

This class is very MATLAB heavy. Be prepared to do extra work on this if you don't have experience coding.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to meet with your groups for group projects. Work on the MATLAB assignments in groups as well.
