    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I liked the online format. He is kind of a difficult grader sometimes. Sends out a lot of e-mails and announcements. He participates on the threaded discussion boards too much sometimes.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different styles of writing.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack just because it is online and you don't have to meet on campus. He won't accept late work!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course that really helped my English skills in reading, writing, and speaking. My vocabulary was raised. Even though I'm not majoring in English, this course helped me a lot and can help any college student no matter what their major is.

    Course highlights:

I learned the formatting of essays such as MLA and APA. I also read and analyzed different short stories to help me better comprehend my reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read and write essays. This course can be challenging but is totally worth it and can be fun if you make it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I have done it through Dual Enrollment and it taught to look at the beauty of the authors true intent behind his chosen words for a book.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be taking a grocery list and writing a story/making a video with the items on the grocery list. It taught use to think critically and creatively and how to tell a story that wraps around the few items presented to us.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to read the books that are assigned for you to read. Also, do not procrastinate. A little study tip that I did was when we read a book I took the number of pages we had to read and divide it by the days I have to read it and that would give me the amount of pages I need to read a day in order to complete the book on time.
