    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a requirement for accounting majors, so there really isn't a way around it if you're an accounting major. Bert is very knowledgeable on the subject of accounting, and, most importantly, he's fair.

    Course highlights:

This course is viewed as the "weeding out class" for accounting majors; if you can get through intermediate and still enjoy accounting, you're going to be fine. In this course, I learned how to use time value of money calculations in the real world, and that gave me my first look into applications of coursework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need a desire to learn, a work ethic, and a willingness to leave your ego behind; I didn't need to try that hard in high school, but once I got to college, I realized that some material is rather difficult and you need to seek out professors' help.
