Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well, it's required as a general education course. However, there is so much to learn from this course. You will make bonds with the classmates, and get a new view on subjects that you might not have explored before.

    Course highlights:

My best memory is from Orientation week. You spend the week with your College Experience Section, and do different things from field trips to campus tours. We went to a camp this year where I grew to love each of the class members as family. Trust exercises are scary enough, but with people you don't even know? That's terrifying! Yet we all had to not only pick up other classmates and rock them side to side, but be the ones picked up! Yes, that's right. Imagine 5-8 people lifting you off the ground Simba style, rocking you, then putting you back down. It's scary but amazing. We did rope climbing and other team building exercises, but this was my favorite and always will be. What I learned, was how to survive college. This whole course is dedicated to getting to know Malone, and succeeding in class. You also will be learning how to be a better person, and you'll be challenged morally. It's amazing!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read when you're told, and enjoy every minute of it. Don't seclude yourself from the other classmates. Enjoy your time with them, some of them may be the best friends you've always wanted. Put an effort in this class, you'll get something out of it. It can be the easiest A you've ever earned, or a pain in the behind because you're not putting forth the effort.
