    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. A is an incredible teacher for CHM 230. I had previously taken CHM 235 with Meyers (who is a great teacher as well) and the course work was very difficult and there was TONS of material. Somehow Dr. A is able to condense organic chemistry into a 5 week course that is not too overwhelming and is very understandable. You MUST show up to class. Everything done in class will help you to succeed in the course and if you miss a day, you could already be slightly behind because you don't understand a very important piece of information. If you go to class, pay attention, ask for help if you don't understand a concept, and do all the work required, you will succeed in this class. And Dr. A makes it very easy for you to do just that! I would highly recommend this class to anyone!

    Course highlights:

We learned about what organic chemistry is, the structural components of organic molecules and how they react with other molecules.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your material, by doing assignments and showing up to class. If you don't understand something, ask for help either in class, in Dr. A's office hours, or with a TA.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very tough course that requires lots of time put into it, but once you get the hang if it, it is very rewarding.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about chemistry. The past chemistry courses didn't make a ton of sense to me, but after taking this class, I feel like I understand as to why things happen in chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the last minute. There is a lot of material and so it works best when you stay on top of it.
