Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Take this course and especially with Tyler. Even though Tyler's jokes take the turn for the worse with cricket chirps, he is a great instructor! He makes sure everyone is on the same page before lecture. He is very friendly to talk to. The course is not easy and not difficult.
Course highlights:
I learn useful concepts that I could apply to my life like compound interests, loan formulas, and saving formulas. I also know how to calculate my winnings or losings from a card game through expected value. However, I will never take a chance to gamble through my new knowledge of probability.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure to know what you are actually doing and not just using the formulas. It is easy to get caught up in knowing the formula, but the main concept for this course is knowing how to reason by using the math work as evidence and not the answer.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I believe the course materials and lab hours required for this class are extremely helpful. I found the TA's in the mathlab more useful that the actual professor for the class.

Do all of your assignments, pick a different instructor than Hadley for this course, and do your lab hours! The TA's are amazing!
