Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives you a basic understanding of computers and teachers you how to use tools that some would consider advanced in Microsoft Office. Also, I found the teacher to be very respectful and helpful when I needed help.

    Course highlights:

The Highlights of this course in my eyes had to be the SAM projects which teach you all about all the tools in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Access. I learned how to not only use these pieces of Microsoft Office but I learned how to use them better than most people.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice that I would give to an students considering taking this class is to not procrastinate. There are assignments that end up taking longer than you expected and if you procrastinate you will end up having trouble finding an efficient computer to use in the labs. Also don't do the assignments on your laptop, use the dual monitors in the computer lab because they will help you get done with assignments quicker.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The coursework is very helpful in providing a deeper understanding of Microsoft Office products, as well as the basic of how computer systems work. The hardest area of the class to do was the book notes. While they were helpful, they consumed an extreme amount of time.

    Course highlights:

Although most students have a basic understanding on how to use Office products such as Word and PowerPoint, the class videos and projects presented features that I did not know about that have actually helped me in other classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The single most important piece of advice I have is to not procrastinate!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Todd Johnson is one of the best professors I've had the honor of meeting. He knows the material from A-Z. Not only is it an easy class to understand, it is also one of the most helpful classes for any major.

    Course highlights:

I was able to broaden my knowledge on all Microsoft Office programs in a way that we, the students, will be able to apply them in real life situations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not do the assignments last minute. They are very helpful and should be done with time.
