    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this class to anyone with the slight interest in the human brain or actions of the body.

    Course highlights:

I loved the last sections of this course when we cover the brain an mental issues.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be attentive, Dr. B can be hard on you, but shes only trying to help improve your knowledge of the subject.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone due to not only the course covering an interesting topic but also since the professor fully draws your attention and makes the course entertaining.

    Course highlights:

I obviously learned the basics of psychology yet in doing so you learn about highly relevant topics which you never knew were so essential in psychology and get to go in depth into the human mind. B.F. Skinner and Ivan Pavlov are main parts of this course and will be covered throughout the semester and in doing so you learn about their studies and the ways conditioning and behaviors still to this day are incorporated into our every day life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make note-cards to study key terms as they can easily be mixed up and they use that against you on all tests. The tests are cumulative so you will be seeing parts of each test incorporated into the next as time goes on. Also, Crash Course videos on psychology are amazing and quick ways to review the content of a chapter right before a test to help you remember some previous content.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would take this class over other Intro to Psych classes because Jason in one, if not, the best Psychology professor NAU can offer! He's really cool and easy to connect with. He also makes his lectures fun and interactive and is office hours are fun to go to.

    Course highlights:

He truly cares about his students, therefore he is very helpful when it comes to studying material for the Midterm and Final. Jason made those stressful times easier for all of us. Also, his lecture during Halloween was ten times more fun!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just because it is a lecture class, don't skip out on it for dumb reasons. I had a good Psychology teacher in high school and thought I knew lots about this class. But, once you're there, it's different, definitely worth going. Plus, you paid for it!
