    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the information you learn can be applied in your life if you ever plan on going into business, and the instructor is very knowledgeable and helpful.

    Course highlights:

In this class I learned how to create the three main financial statements and journal entries. I was also taught how to use these financial statements and their figures to make smart business decisions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend always showing up to class. The online textbook is required for this class, since it includes the online assignments you have to do. Even if you do average on the tests, you can still earn an A in the class if you do well on the online assignments and course pack homework. You can do well in the class even if you don't do the reading, however doing the reading can help you understand why you do certain things. If you are still having trouble grasping the material, SI sessions are helpful, or even creating study groups with classmates. To study for tests, I used all available practice exams and review packets (you are provided with plenty of review material before each exams).

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a very difficult course, but I learned so much from it. If it is a requirement for your major/minor, be prepared this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was that even though the course was difficult, it shows that hard work, dedication, and perseverance really do pay off. I find that it was helpful that the course helped me understand how the material can be applied to real life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For students who are considering the course, I would recommend going to office hours if you don't understand something. The material piles on top of each other, so if you don't understand a specific concept, you won't understand the next and the one after that. If you are still having trouble understanding something, take advantage of tutor sessions that could help you! And remember, you are not alone! I've struggled with this class, but think positively! YOU CAN DO THIS!
