    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Without ever taking an economics class before, starting off with this one leaves you far behind and often confused. John Eastwood as a professor lacks many traits that you would expect one to have. His type of teaching is all over the place and his classes are very rarely constructed to help the students obtain the required information for the daily homework he gives out and for the tests. When you ask a question it is rarely met with an answer but almost always met with condescending demeanor, leaving you embarrassed to ask any other questions.

    Course highlights:

After struggling through the class for almost half a semester, I was left so far behind in the class that I no longer even knew how to ask question. Because of this I was taught a well rounded study routine that helped learn the course. I also learned that extra study sessions held by either the SI or TA where highly recommended as they where able to connect with students questions and struggles better. Because of this course I learned the value of going to extra help outside of the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest refreshing your memory on any other economics classes that you had taken before. I would also recommend going to all SI or TA sessions as they proved most detrimental in learning the required material.
