    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher graded to her own rubric, so there were plenty of assignments that I failed because of that. The class I took was online, meaning that I had to set aside time of my own to complete the course. Online classes are a challenge because you have to be your own teacher.

    Course highlights:

There were a few things that I learned from this class. While some subjects were a bit difficult to process, I found the last subject we covered to be the most interesting. We discussed different behaviours and motivations that you find in the classroom. What I did like about this course was that you were put in the teachers position from the very beginning, which is great because that is the reason why you are taking the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study. Study. Take the readings seriously and if you don't understand the concept, look elsewhere for a better explanation. My teacher didn't have good notes so I was constantly searching on the internet for a better explanation. Talk things out to yourself and to others: this is a good way to understand the concepts in a way that you can remember them. Another good thing to do is to write down all of the due dates ahead of time and plug them into every available calender. Put them in your phone and set a reminder so you won't miss out on assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was very simple. We created questions, mostly.

    Course highlights:

I did learn the difference between a valid and invalid question.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to create question without any loopholes.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher was amazing! She really knew the content and how to teach it effectively.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the psychology of teaching. Teaching is a lot more complex than knowing the material and being "good with kids". It pointed out flaws in our education system and showed things we are doing well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course very seriously seeing that it is required to complete the education degree. It is a challenge so do not blow anything off.
