Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Mallik has a way of making his lectures understandable as well as providing all of the matriel you need for the exams.

    Course highlights:

This is a course that is designated for most STEM majors and it is a very useful class. You learn Gauss-Jordan elimination methods of solving linear equations, the idea of subspaces and vector spaces.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests will be exactly like the quizzes which are exactly like the homework which all take their problems from his class notes. Overall this is a very easy class if you pay attention but the material is difficult so do not fall behind.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was wonderful! Matt does a fabulous job of teaching to the WHOLE class...he's very thorough and presents material in a way that makes it memorable and understandable. He's also very good about being available during office hours and other times if you need any help at all.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was the in class discussions...we could transition from eigen values of a matrix to Radiohead in no time at all. Even with the various excursions into pop culture, we covered all of the syllabus material in ample time before the final and even had a week to review.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the homework, and ask for help when you need it. If you're putting in the effort, there's no reason for you to get less than a B!
