    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course would've been easier with a more thorough professor. I wouldn't recommend it if you aren't a computer science or engineering major, because it is a difficult course with a lot of subject matter.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were being able to learn a lot more about machine languages like assembly and binary.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Of course if you are a computer science major, the you will eventually have to take this course. My best advice is to go to office hours often. The material covered in this course was harder for me to grasp, and office hours are incredibly helpful, especially since the lecture doesn't necessarily help you understand the subject material much better. I would also not recommend taking this course with another computer science course, because then you will have two projects due each week on top of other homework assignments.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is terrific and willing to help you if you need help. He also makes sure to give you more than enough hints on what's going to be on the tests.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the basics of computer organization and how to program in a low level language.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to start the projects early and to pay attention in class.
