    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in what is going on in the world, then this class is for you. We talk about more than law and government, we talk about social issues, gender, global warming, etc. There is not right or wrong in this class, and everyone's voices are heard.

    Course highlights:

This is an international politics course so the week or so was spent on learning about the differences between anarchy and hierarchy. The next few weeks were spent on learning about the three theories of international politics: realism, constructivism, and neoliberal instutitionalism. You will be asked to apply these theories to what happened in World War 1 and World War 2. We also took these theories and applied them to whats going on in politics in today's society. This class is fun and there will be field trips!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is a lot of writing. You can write as little as three pages to as many as 9 pages a week. Having some background of the hierarchy system and the three theories of international politics before you take the class is helpful.
