    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class was fast paced so there was never a boring moment. The professor was very knowledgeable and very good at teaching the material in a way that I remembered it.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the skills to move on to Calculus 1

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class everyday, or you will fall behind, it is a very fast paced class

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking pre calc with professor Regan because the class is hard and he is an easy person to talk to and you can ask him questions at any time and he will help you.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things like trigonometry and linear functions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to get all your homework in, on time, and 100% and focus on studying ahead of time for exams.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you go into this class anticipating teaching yourself, you will do just fine. Dr. Nicely is a brilliant mathematician, but has trouble imparting his knowledge to his students, and often comes off arrogant and condescending. If you can get in with a different professor, I recommend it.

    Course highlights:

Lots of focus on the basics of calculus and trigonometry, but moved at a breakneck pace that was difficult to keep up with.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take full advantage of tutors, the library, and any quiet time you can get to yourself or with help.
