    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you are planning on taking the course Intro to Nutrition, please understand basic studying. At the beginning of the course I had struggled, because I did not review after every class session. Instead I had made a few flash cards, and thought that is all I would need. I guessed wrong. Deb also likes to word her test differently do to her passion for Nutrition, so during your first exam really pay attention, so you will be prepared for the next exam.

    Course highlights:

The best part about Into to Nutrition, is learning the right way to eat. I have changed the way I eat dramatically and have lost 10lbs since I started my course back in August. Now this is not the only upside to nutrition, the best part is when Deb Murray comes into class everyday with excitement to teach, which makes you excited to learn. Deb is very good at finding ways to interact with the students even though its a lecture hall of about 120 students. I wish you the best of luck and hope you enjoy the course as much as I did.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Small study tips: Look over notes after every session, ask questions, make some note cards but do not rely on them, and fill out every study guide she hands out those questions will be on the test. Another recent tip I have discovered is after every chapter there are small quizzes, take them! Deb takes more than half of those questions and adds them to the exam. I have also found reading the book helps if you need a more in depth explanation. Last tip: After every exam attend Deb's office hours to review what you did wrong and how you could better yourself for the next exam. Most students are scared to talk to their instructors, don't be they are here to help you achieve your goals. Give them a chance.
