    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

For marketing majors, the professional sales class is a mandatory. Adam Rapp is the perfect professor to introduce the sales aspect of marketing. There are two role-plays where students have to act as if they're selling something to a customer. It sounds intimidating at first but Rapp prepares his students that these roles plays are a breeze. Even if someone studying marketing is not planning on going into the sales field, they would still find themselves able to sell the products in the role play based on the teaching.

    Course highlights:

I learned how door-to-door sales people sell and selling techniques.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn to be comfortable in the role-play scenarios. They can be difficult because of the idea of having to act and pretend you are someone selling a product to another person. It is beneficial to think of these scenarios as just another conversation.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of Dr. Rapp's passion and enthusiasm about the subject and his students.

    Course highlights:

We participated in actual sales role plays, and I learned about the necessary preparation before a sales call.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen and take away something from his life story's, pay attention to the lectures because there's always an important lesson.
