Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this class! You learn a lot more than just about the environment. You also learn a lot about who you are as a person.

    Course highlights:

The professor was outstanding. He showed us films, let us read articles and some books and he also had class discussions, but all in all he let us make our own decisions about what was happening in the environment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are wanting to open your mind or are curious about new possibilities about yourself, the environment, or also just the world in general then this is a class that will really make you think differently!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very interesting and learning the material was actually fun.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights were the sections about agriculture and the class discussions we had about it. I also Really enjoyed the video we watched in class exposing dams.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the study guide provided for tests and don't skip class. If you do miss class make sure to get the notes from the TA. If you go to class and do the readings the tests are not hard at all.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches you to think about the consequences of your daily routine in terms of waste and pollution. Modern examples and personal experiments reveal the reality of environmental policies and the flaws in the structure of our culture and society. With collective knowledge comes collective change, and that's what the world needs.

    Course highlights:

This course included lessons about the environmental impact of commercial agriculture to urban development, personal waste habits to industrial waste, ecotourism and everything in between. I learned about what I can do to lessen my own eco-footprint, and where I should focus to better society as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be careless about the projects. They are designed to teach you to think! Once you get into the habit of paying attention to environmental impact, you will have this gift for life. Also, don't procrastinate. There are few assignments but they need time.
