Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an interesting course, and the professor is a really cool person. I can't recommend this course enough. I loved this class!

    Course highlights:

I gained the ability to code in C++. as well as have some basic concepts of Computer science under my belt. I enjoyed the challenges it presented me, and especially liked the projects. The projects were situational problems that we had to think of a solution to through programming. Overall, a super fulfilling course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. If you don't, you will fail, simple as that. Also, make sure to practice. Coding is like math: you only get better through practicing, and keeping your skills sharp.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Doctor Chelberg will challenge you in this class, the quizzes will be difficult and the assignments will be very long and complex. But you will learn the basics to C++ if you put in the time his class demands.

    Course highlights:

I gained a love for programming and his course influenced me to switch my major so I could further learn Computer Science. The assignments have so much freedom that allows them to be done a multitude of different ways so I learned to go with my instinct when I had an idea.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not willing to take a class that requires many hours of homework, reading, studying, and visiting with TA's and the professor this class will be very difficult. The hardest workers will do the best in the class.
