    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great starting point for people who have had even the slightest background in coding with Object Oriented languages. It's even structured in a way that someone with no experience might be able to understand it. The professor is great at explaining topics and answering any questions you might have.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of C++ through this class. It covered topics from what variables are to building classes and separate compilation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go for it. It's a great course even if you are just interested in coding as a hobby.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Under Chelberg, this course is very very hard. But he will make you a good Computer Scientists. You will learn very quickly under him whether or not you enjoy this field, and whether or not you can actually do this for the rest of your life.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly code. Cs2400 properly introduces you to the full syntax of the c++ language. Under Chelberg, you get to make a text adventure that is modular. This is a hard concept for some one who is a beginner in coding to under take; however, YOU WILL LEARN SO MUCH IN THE PROCESS. Coding is learned through constant challenge and repetition. You can't just learn the syntax and expect to write programs optimally! I would say having Chelberg in that way is the highlight! If you make it through you will understand how to code and do it WELL!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

you have to take this class for a computer science or electrical engineering degree, so, if you are a computer science major, I would really recommend this course under Chelberg! It's good to suffer now when you're learning the language and to understand it thoroughly than to understand it on a beginner level.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great entry level course, teaches everything anybody wanting to code needs to know to begin writing simple programs in C++.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all of the basics of C++ from variable types, to loops, functions, to randomizers, to classes and structures, then finally linked files for lists and arrays of things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you do all the projects and understand them the tests are not hard, mostly just to test if you copied someone else or not.
