information obtained or produced by or for attorneys in anticipation of litigation may be protected from
discovery under FRCP 26 (b)(3).

FACTS: Venegas was falsely arrested and denied a fair trial. After Venegas filed a complaint in district
court that was dismissed, he hired an attorney (Mitchell) to represent him in a civil case.
