Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It helps you to become very familiar with APA writing formating. In every course I have taken so far, there are always papers. Some more than others, but knowing how to write papers correctly is essential.

    Course highlights:

I was well versed in the APA formatting of a paper, how to find information to guide you in writing in APA format, and what is expected in paper writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just participate in the forums if online, and make sure you follow the rubrics that are given.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

After being away from school for awhile this course helped me remember the smaller things, like paying attention to plagiarism and how to correctly format an APA paper because I was taught MLA growing up.

    Course highlights:

Learned how to write a paper in APA format, discussions were fruitful, papers were personal

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is the beginning of your learning classes... take it seriously and figure out your work/school/family balance... it will be difficult at first but you will get it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As an adult returning to the classroom, this course helped me become familiar with computer software for navigating research sources and writing papers with the proper formatting, which is a major part of college participation.

    Course highlights:

I learned the Microsoft Word features, APA formatting for papers, and sources for researching journals, peer reviewed papers and articles which provide invaluable data. The course also discussed the necessity of critical thinking and integrity in writing papers, specifically, to avoid plagiarism of any degree.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This is a foundational course that I recommend for any first year student. The fundamentals learned here will be used throughout your college experience and probably into your career in varying degrees.
