Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Taking English Comp I with professor Barr is your best bet to liking Comp I. He is laid back and very easy to communicate with. Then again, so are all the professors at Ohio Christian. There are weekly online classes because you only meet once a week, but that is the only inconvenient part of the class, it's sometimes hard to remember an online class. He gives you more than enough time to finish all drafts and gives you a chance to redo all of the ones you'd like to improve on at the end of the semester for credit. Overall, this is an awesome course and Scott Barr is an awesome guy.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about APA formatting throughout this course, everything had to be done in APA. I also learned a lot about different kinds of essays, there were some that were your typical narratives or informative essays. On the other hand though, there were a couple that were researched based, which was new for me. I also learned how to use scholarly research and incorporate it into my writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to devote time each week into writing. You have to become good at managing your time because this class is a lot of working on your own, writing papers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this English Class to everyone because it is an excellent way to earn college credit as a senior in High School.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this English class. In the beginning I did not understand grammar and structures of essays. Now I have a better understanding, but I still have a lot more learning to do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class make sure that you read the English textbook and do not procrastinate. Do your work at the beginning of the week rather than at the end of the week.
