Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a good introductory course, Dr. Hurwitz certainly knows all of the required information. I would not recommend the 8am class, but I do not recommend any 8am class. The class was very through, and personally, I learned quite a bit from it. Any student who goes into this class will certainly leave better informed.

    Course highlights:

We very throughly covered everything required in the course, and Hurwitz did his best to make sure the class was interested in the information presented. It was interesting to see someone who had clearly mastered all of the information presented, present it so clearly and concisely. Hurwitz also has many stories that relate to the information. They're fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, and pay close attention- he will sometimes include questions on the weekly quizzes related to the previous class's discussion. Also don't miss class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr Hurwitz really added so much into the course to help students with all learning prefrences learn the material. The course was so much fun and if I had the chance I would do it all over again.

    Course highlights:

Mostly we learned about theories and the mind body disconnect. Freud was our most major topic throughout the whole course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study your vocabulary and write down the notes he puts on the board, they may seem goofy at the time but there is a message behind it and it WILL be on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend having Hurwitz as a teacher. Teach a lot but is very helpful with everything as well as very energetic at any possible hour of the day. If you get him at 8am I guarantee that you won't want or will be sleeping in his class.

    Course highlights:

To me chapters 4, 5 and 6 are the most interesting chapters of the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Put effort into wanting to learn, do the work he ask of you to do, he loves to give small exams so look over your notes.
