Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

That course really helped me with my writing skills. From learning how to think critically to writing papers on specific formats, that class made me a better student overall. I highly recommend it

    Course highlights:

It was a very nice course where we had little quizzes throughout the semester and a few exams. However most of our work was shown through papers, we are also urged to use our creativity and express our writing skill however we wanted. Some students did a poem and some painted a picture. I learnt a lot about English literature and writing formats such as APA and MLA

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is, make sure you do your work and ask for help whenever needed. It is a writing intensive course so maybe looking for tutors that can read over your assignments is a good option. She also offers extra credit, so make sure you are keeping up with those, specially if your grade is not as high as you wish it was.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

ENG142 is a writing intensive course with a lot of hands on guidance from the professor. I was introduced to exciting stories and plays that I had not read before and I learned the best way to write original, argumentative papers. I feel like I am a better writer for having taken this class.

    Course highlights:

I mostly enjoyed reading The Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller. It was an interesting and emotional play and I enjoyed picking it apart, looking for symbolism and foreshadowing in the story. It was a great play and Professor Clay did an amazing job of guiding the class through it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You cannot be successful with this course without doing the required reading. The majority of the assigned reading are stories so it is interesting and you will be quizzed. It is an easy assignment to do and will benefit you greatly with the quizzes and the class discussions.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend her to other students. She may be a little difficult at times, but well worth it. Just follow the English rules to an APA paper and you will get an A in her class. Plus she loves quotes in the paper.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly put quotes into paper. The highlight of the class was the people in it. It made class discussion more entertaining. We also learned how to come together as a group or pairs to write papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the books she wants you to. They come in handy, along with ways to help write your paper. Go to class, we usually got assigned a new paper every class. This was a required class for me.
