Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Online course is a very well structured class that allows for interaction with both the professor and peers. Professor Parsil is very understanding when it comes to technology issues. The workload is vigorous without being overwhelming.

    Course highlights:

I personally enjoyed peer reviewing the essays of my fellow classmates. It allowed me to get a look into their world and a different perspective on certain issues while helping them in the process. Along with learning how to peer review and navigate an online class in general, I learned about various writing styles including profiles, memoirs, and commentary among many others.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you work hard and are self motivated. Both give and take advice, and stay on top of course work as it can pile up if you are not diligent.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very unorganized and students rarely knew exactly what was expected.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about research essays, which helped me in different classes other than this one.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do every little assignment given to you, the points will add up and matter in the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is an easy class if you're just coming off of senior English classes. It was a lot of writing, but the teacher was great. She was good at giving effective feedback and was really nice. You know you can count on her to help you out.

    Course highlights:

The teacher was definitely a plus. She was always available for help on revision work or just general questions. For me, the amount of writing in this course was a plus too. It helped with fine tuning my writing skills and he work load wasn't overwhelming.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just keep up with the teacher and the work and it's an easy class. The teacher is helpful, so don't be afraid to ask her questions.
