Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoyed this online course because in addition to our reading assignments there were three extra credit assignments. One was a field trip to the prison, one was to the jail downtown, and one was a ride along with a police officer. It really gave you a first hand look at the criminal justice field and gave you an opportunity to speak with those people in that field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were definitely visiting the prison and the jail (which were not mandatory but were extra credit). I was a little scared but it was well worth it. It gave me a very REAL look at what the criminal justice field would be.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the book! The tests and discussion board posts aren't too difficult but you do need to read the book to fully grasp everything
