    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are really dependent on provided study guides or being reminded about quizzes then this class is not for you. It is a large lecture class you have to take charge in this class and buckle down to study. You will have to fit it into your schedule on your own. This course os very Independent and you have to be responsible.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights is that you do not have to buy the book but you do have to buy a subscription to a website. The website is cheaper and you get to save some money.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused and do not put off studying for this course. You will fall behind and there is no way to catch up.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this course as an incoming freshman, with the most recent biology experience as a sophomore in high school. If you are willing to put in the extra work that is required to receive a good grade, then the course is for you. I had heard that the professor was 'hard', but they just explained that she could not teach. I don't think that is the problem, as I learned a lot from the course, however, it is every bit of a college course as she does not spoon-feed you the information. I wish I would have heard that it would be much more extra work than most entry courses as a freshman, but I did enjoy her class despite the extra work.

    Course highlights:

I gained the basic information that was stated in our syllabus for the class. I enjoyed her extra videos and how she used the activities from the book, to help us understand the information more. Her sometimes crude jokes at 8 a.m., helped ease the mood and she was a truly understanding professor, as the course material is not the easiest to understand.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would strongly advise going into her office hours, looking over the old tests afterwards, and to not be afraid to ask questions. Dr. Leady is a very understanding lady, and though she may seem intimidating she is not, she wants the best for her students IF they are willing to put in the work for her course.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Chadee has great passion for biology. She is very informative with the information needed to succeed in the course.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of the course would be when she discussed cancer. Dr. Chadee's specialization is in Cancer Research so this topic was very interesting to discuss with her.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study. If you fall behind in this class, you will not catch up.
