Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because Professor Covington brings new ways to make english, more importantly writing, an enjoyable outlook. Makes you feel like the assignment that you were assigned seem less like work.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the class was the Literacy Journey assignment. I did not necessarily learn anything new. What I did learn was how similar some of the ways I learned as a young child were very similar to other classmates.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is not anything like you would think a writing class would be like. Yes you have to write but you do not dread it. You are able to put your opinion into most assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Light has a great approach to English and writing! Lots of opportunities for extra credit, and participation is a big part of the grade!

    Course highlights:

Had focus on the process of reading and writing which was interesting. You had readings before every class but not too long readings.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your readings, use EC opportunities, and participate. Even if you don't do extremely well on papers you can still get a good grade!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a student in engineering, Professor Craig is only English professor I have ever liked. He takes the time to thoroughly explain the process behind writing and also takes the time to help you improve.

    Course highlights:

Professor Craig had us work alongside many international students. I've learned much about their lives and cultures more so than if I never took his course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Plan ahead to set time aide to write. The more drafts you go through, the better!
