    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As someone who did not have a great writing background, this course really helped me increase my writing ability. The class had an interesting theme and all of the assignments were helpful and never seemed like busy work. There was never too much work that you felt overwhelmed, but there was enough that you felt like you were learning something.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was the last paper we wrote where we got to chose the topic. In most English or writing courses, there is given material or a very specific prompt that you have to follow. For this paper we were given a very broad prompt that we could fit almost any topic we wanted into. As someone who normally dreads writing papers, this was a nice change for me as I wrote this paper much quicker than I normally do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would just recommend that they participate in class. Each day you have the ability to earn one point in participation. While one point does not seem like much, it can add up towards the end of the semester when you are in between two letter grades. I would also recommend going to office hours as she will look over any paper and provide comments before you have to turn it in to be graded.
