Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great course overall! very engaging and the professor related topics back to us as students. The papers could be challenging, but she gave us the tools to fulfill what she wanted. As students we were aware of her grading rubric and were our focus should be from the syllabus we were given. Dr. Q is the kind of professor that went by her syllabus, what she put goes.

    Course highlights:

Personally I learned of course not to wait till the last minute to complete assignments and papers. Although some of my best work was done the night before, I still wish I would of done it sooner.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ready to do the work, don't miss a class and participate

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is recommended because it expands one's knowledge on the nature of writing. In the course, the student will learn many different essay styles along with how they should sound to the reader. Examples of the essays include: argumentative essays, cause and effect essays, comparison and contrast essays, and my favorite one, narrative essays. In English 111, the student may also be given the option to free write and come up with his or her own topic. Why not take the course?

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly write an argumentative essay. Arguing is easy, but having a valid argument and considering the opponent's point of view without losing your position is very strenuous. It requires a lot of thought, and it was definitely a great challenge.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest expanding your vocabulary. If you know more words then it could be easier to use them. I also suggest learning about your teacher, and understanding the style of writing they prefer. Other than that, be prepared to write about an ample amount of topics, and do your best.
