    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is challenging and helps you hone your writing craft. It was unconventional and refreshing to exam the role of literature in cinema and film ranging from the 60's to films being made today.

    Course highlights:

Creating a play based on one scene from any of the works we had read was really fun! I chose a scene from "Hamlet", I became more confident in both my creative writing abilities and my writing in general.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always show up prepared! The professors were sticklers for accountability. Carry your novel around with you, join a discussion/study group and take notes. You'll be surprised the amount of information you can learn from you peers and some of things they caught or understood that you might have missed.
