    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely difficult, but the professor always submits feedback and lets the student know how he or she can improve in the class.

    Course highlights:

Many of the highlights were learning and applying chemical formulas and equations and performing experiments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Constantly study for this class. Use outside resources (other textbooks, friends, internet, etc) to help you understand tough subjects. Speak up and tell the professor if you don't understand the subject or topic at hand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online and it was very challenging. Definitely a class to take in person.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed some of the labs and seeing certain things happen all while I was at home.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate and read things over multiple times.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class in particular at Rio Salado Community College, because it is all online, with the exception of the labs that have to be done by you and not online. Pros: You do not have to sit in a classroom, can be done with little assistance from your professor. Cons: You have to go out and buy supplies for almost all labs, sometimes professor is hard to get a hold of.

    Course highlights:

Highlights would be that I felt I was able to teach myself the information better than I would have on campus taking this course. I learned hands on with different household products/chemicals and learned about their properties, for instance if the product was a base or acid just by the color it would turn when in conjunction with a neutralizer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take this course I would recommend to use more than just the required course material to learn the information, because in my opinion you always need a second opinion.
