    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course because it's not that interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned about many of the processes that occur on and in Earth.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY STUDY STUDY. Don't fall behind.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you aren't afraid to invest actual time into it. This isn't a class you can skate by in because there is a lot of reading! And, let's be honest, aside from a few points, Geology isn't always the most fascinating subject, so you have to exert effort to actually learn the material. If you want to learn about the Earth and its functions, however, I would recommend Professor Terry for sure! He is very kind and helpful!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the parts that caught my interest. Things like what exactly plate tectonics are, how storms and disasters from these storms affect the earth, and leaning more just how precious our earth is and how we need to work to conserve it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you need to actually do the reading. If you do that, you will do good! Aside from the heavy reading load, it's just quizzes and essay questions. I'd say the hardest part is the exams because they are not open book, they are proctored, so you have to really study to make sure you have all the information you need to do well on the test.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it was very fun and not too difficult. The professor was great, he just wanted to have fun with the class and wasn't too serious. Further, the workload wasn't that much either, really you just needed to show up, pay attention and you would do fine.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the professor. He took a class that didn't seem too exciting and made it fun to take. Also, there are class trips, which involve hiking and looking for rocks, that you could attend and receive extra credit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advice you need is take it and have fun with it. If you don't immerse yourself in the class then it won't be as much fun and you won't like it.
