Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Instructor was great, easy to work with. Everything you'd expect from a writing course, but honestly isnt too bad. Try your best and share inquiry with instructor if problems arise.

    Course highlights:

Ive always been a good writer for the most part, so i really only needed clarification on in text citations and bibliography overall....with some slight organizational amendments.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best and share frustrations with instructor.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Though some may tsk at the idea of having to repeatedly write essays, it is a valuable skill. Writing is a part of being able to communicate efficiently and professionally. Advanced Composition goes through both the basic and detailed aspects of correctly communicating with others through writing. And despite one's perhaps predetermined opinions on their personal writing abilities, there is always room to improve and to recognize undiscovered talents. It is an exceptional course to take if you would like to strengthen areas of your writing or simply learn the fundamentals of writing a more knowledgeable paper!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course included learning how to properly navigate databases! In college and possibly beyond, it is more than likely you will have to construct a research paper. Research can be quite frustrating for a number of students as their only well-known information gatherer is typically a search engine. From what was learned in Advanced Composition, students in the class are now able to locate articles, books, reviews, and other sources of information by using online databases and refining the searches to collect exactly what they need. Being able to find then cite more intelligible and varied sources in addition to writing the paper made for more excellent research and reports.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to fully take advantage of what this course offers, it is highly recommended that students exercise both their previous and recently learned writing abilities with fully applied effort. The only way to improve personal writing skills is to subject them to critique and revision. It is also imperative that students focus and use their own abilities rather than over-write. It is better to be honest with your own writing than try to submit pieces of writing that contain bombastic, out-of-range language for the sake of points. Writing is essentially an art, and it is best to treat it as such by remembering no two pieces or writers are the same and that everyone's capabilities vary.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is wanting to really achieve their abilities.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make a three page paper into a five page paper. This course teaches you how to really bring out those ideas and really focus on explain what you are saying.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate on your work or fall behind because it does get difficult to get caught back up. try your hardest because it really is worth it.
