This class was tough.
If you made it past College Physics I, then I know you enjoy physics. It's not an easy field, but take pride in your ability to solve these complex problems. Electromagnetism can be daunting at first, but stick to your guns, study hard, and you'll master it.
The faculty at Wooster is really, really, REALLY good at proving where mathematical laws come from. As long as you attend class and read the selected reading, you will gain a strong foundation in electromagnetism and optics-- not to mention a solid idea of how mathematics can explain physical occurrences.

Advice for students:
Practice, practice, practice. Your textbook is your best friend. Do as many problems as you can. The reading and lecture will help you understand WHAT the physics is, while the problems will teach you HOW to do the physics.
