Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because of the experience and diversity of the class. As well as the overall teaching methods of the professor.

    Course highlights:

The best part is the open conversations in class we had over sex, religion, family, race, orientation. You learn others viewpoints from different genders and colors of skin which help you have a better understanding of some things in the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention in class, participate and listen well.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I found this course to be thought-provoking. The professor did everything she could to make sure the class understood the material presented, but it is ultimately up to each individual to take control of his/her education. She put responsibility on her students while setting us up to succeed.

    Course highlights:

This course came with many different sources to succeed. The professor was always open to answering questions, there was a T.A. who helped when she could on our research paper, and there was also an SI instructor who served as a wonderful resource to reinforce the material learned each week. I learned a great deal about the proper way to research for a research-based APA paper. I also learned a great deal about issues of the world and how to distinguish sociological factors of the country.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students considering this particular course to understand that being a college student means growing up. Be responsible for yourself and your grade. Ask questions if you do not understand a concept and take advantages of every opportunity to secure your grade!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Candice Flowers - Taylor is a straight forward professor who truly wants her students to succeed. If you show her you care and put in effort she will do everything she can to help you throughout the semester no matter what it is.

    Course highlights:

The open class discussions about gender, race, ethnicity and sexuality were the best part of the course. Allows you to get out your viewpoint on each subject as well as see from others shoes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

READ THE BOOK! It really helps on the exam as well as the lectures. Don't fall asleep in class, and the class is not attendance based but she pays attention to who comes to class or not, so I recommend to go.
