    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor is condescending but probably better with someone else teaching. The material overall is not particularly difficult if you put forth your best effort.

    Course highlights:

I do like learning more of the background on computer science, things that I hadn't even thought about previously. Also, I love logic gates.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study as best as you can. This class isn't something you can goof off in if you want to pass.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interesting, yet challenging course. I feel it has given me so much insight/experience with computer science. I did struggle with the course quite a bit but I feel that this allowed me to grow a lot with this knowledge and I learned a great deal about computer science. Professor Goldweber is very challenging but I now see the benefits that this has brought to my education.

    Course highlights:

Learned the do's and dont's of coding. This is an introductory course and gave a very good introduction and overview of what computer science is. This course also put me in the mindset of a computer scientist and showed me what things to consider when coding.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you must pay attention and take good notes in class. Make sure to attend class as often as possible and ask a lot of questions. Communicate with the professor often and tell him any concerns as he will take your effort into consideration.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to attend class and pay attention, another thing is to put in a lot of time and start assignments early so that you can ask questions and learn through trial and error.
