Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any high school student planning on majoring in any field of science, since this course is a dual credit course. Mrs. Queen is an amazing teacher who instructs her students to develop an intellectual understanding of each concept rather than memorizing definitions.

    Course highlights:

Through taking this course I not only learned each and every concept thoroughly, I was able to apply my new knowledge to each lab and obtain relatively successful lab results! Also, this class taught me better study habits, such as developing a reading plan so I knew the chapter before the lecture in class as to promote more critical thinking and in-class discussion.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful, a study plan and dedicating about 45 minutes of your time each day to the course will place you above those who do not.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The notes were easy to understand and the information on the exams came straight from his PowerPoints. The course was really straightforward but at the same time you really had to put the work in to get the grade you wanted. Really great course and professor!

    Course highlights:

I gained a new appreciation for biology to be honest. At first I thought the course would be alright and that I would have an easy time with it. But, after putting in hours of studying and drawing pictures of what would be included in the citric acid cycle(among many other cycles and diagrams) over and over, it really dispelled the nonchalant attitude I had and taught me to really love biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously from the beginning. Don't wait until after the first two exams to really start putting your study habits into high gear because this course can very easily get away from you.
