Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This online class pushes the boundaries of your average student. The online chats encourage student to express their political values and listen the opinions of others. The assignments consist of reading online articles, reading chapters from the textbook, and taking a quiz after the reading. There are also on campus exam reviews that provide answers for the test material.

    Course highlights:

I loved participating in the online chats. Most of my friends and I met through them and had a lot of fun defending our positions. I learned to consider someone else's opinion on certain matters rather than just what I believed. I also learned that to effectively win an argument, one must do the research in order to properly defend their position.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate in the exam reviews. Often the homework material does not cover all of the exam material, and students can miss out on valuable material. Also, don't be afraid to speak up during class discussions. Even if your wrong, you still learn something you never knew before.
