    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I believe this is one class that barely classifies as generally useful. It's interesting to learn some of the material, but it won't serve most people in the future unless they are pursuing a science degree. For me, something more along the lines of anatomy and physiology are useful.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how to draw and represent almost any element, compound, or mixture, as well as how to name them. We also learned about how these elements and forces such as work and heat function in the environment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study the material because each section builds off the next. You will set yourself up to fail in the long run if you slack in one unit. I started the class late and was able to catch up well but it progressed quickly from there. Don't be afraid to use the tutors in the lab. They truly want to help you and are really nice.

Chemistry 1 is a tough course. You have to make sure you have lots of time to study and read the book.

    Course highlights:

There is some things I learned dealing with math and elements.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study as much as you can. Exams are tough if you don't study enough.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because Mr. Zhu has very manageable office hours and he is willing to help you on concepts that you're missing.

    Course highlights:

This course was basically an introduction to chemistry. I learned about dimensional analysis, oxidation and reduction, and molecular geometry.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Procrastination is your enemy. Don't do it.
