Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the professor wasn't stuck up, and the lectures and reading material were fairly interesting.

    Course highlights:

My fellow classmates were friendly, and the lectures were always filled with jokes. Nothing was plain black and white.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class ready to learn, and be prepared to take lots of notes. The exams aren't hard, but you definitely won't pass them if you don't study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally really like sociology and it is relatively very easy for me. One thing I would say though is that you should really pay attention in class because if you don't you will get lost and it's kinda hard to catch up. The professor also uses examples from in class discussions on exams.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot actually, I learned why people behave in certain ways and how the environment in which they reside in plays a huge factor.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes over the examples given in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to any young adult that I meet. The professor was very knowledgable and experienced, and found a way to teach about a variety of current events while easily keeping the class involved. The course wasn't too difficult, and the course was more centered around discussion, making it easy to learn more than expected.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the impact of sociology on our growth, both as individuals and as a society. We looked closely at how sociology impacts and is impacted by global warming, gender, race, and other topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're considering this course, the only advice I can give is to walk in to class attentive and open minded. The professor is a liberal, and not afraid to share his opinion. However, he is also open to informing others of his opinion as well as listening to others. He's very attentive, and the only advice I could give is to be attentive as well.
