Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor leaves a lot of room for creativity in the essay topics he assigns. He is also very understanding and genuinely interested in what his students have to contribute to the class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was being able to share ideas with my classmates. Normally things like this make me nervous, but the professor and my classmates were always supportive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't write your whole essay the night before it's due.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She gives a lot of free reign in the projects, encouraging creativity, but has guidelines and project requirements that everyone must follow. Every assignment must be turned in in order to pass the course, no matter how late, so you're always growing and pushing yourself to finish assignments. I loved this class and everything I was able to experiment with throughout the semester.

    Course highlights:

I was able to pick my own subject for our research topic and create my own survey poll, learning how to design and convey the survey and its data as part of my analytical argument. I was also able to explore spoken word as part of our memoir project and turn in a video form of the project along with my written portion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time for it, the work isn't hard, but effective and creative writing takes time.
