    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course teaches you the basic knowledge of marketing. You will gain broad understanding of overall marketing history and new ideas. The professor had a thick accent and I misunderstood him occasionally. But overall he was good professor and worked with each students.

    Course highlights:

    Broad understanding of marketing history and where it's headed. Meaning and goals of marketing. Different strategy to use for many types of business. Group project was about choosing a company or a product and make a presentation using all knowledge gained in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Almost half of questions were essay questions. Not only you have to understand the concept, but also have to memorize ridiculous amount of facts. If you take this class, be ready to memorize many many marketing concepts.

    Attendance is important for this class, and be ready for the short 5-questions quizzes
