    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a great class to start my college career with. Not only was it challenging, it was rewarding. It really did it's job to filter out between students who wanted to work for results, and those who didn't. With a substantial amount of effort, this class was very doable. Finishing with a good grade gave me more satisfaction and pride than I felt during any other class I've taken.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include the organization from the professor. He lays out everything you will need to know and when each lesson will occur. He is extremely approachable and can be stopped at any point during class to answer a question. I learned very much about the basics of biology, and walked away understanding many more concepts than I normally would have obtained.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend the tutoring system for this course. At most hours of the day, your questions can be answered, whatever they may be. Office hours are also critical. Staying on top of your schedule is of utmost importance, because it's easy to fall behind if you never take the time to understand each and every lesson. It's challenging, but you have a multitude of resources to help you really succeed.

    Advice for students:

Read your sub ally's at least twice to catch all the assignment due dates.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class and with this professor to all incoming biology majors. It was a great atmosphere to work in and I really enjoyed the challenge it presented.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was definitely the professor, his teaching style worked well with most of the class and made for a productive, fast paced, environment in the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students is that always listen intently during his lectures because a lot of information on the tests can be found there, also make sure to take good notes because there are a lot of fact that need to be remembered.
