    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a course filled with the basic biology information that will get you started on the career path of the medical field. It is a very challenging course, but if you put in the effort, it is extremely interesting and informative. Also, Tarren Shaw is an amazing professor who knows how to teach to every different type of student and offers a wide range of out of class study and tutoring options.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was definitely learning about the immune system. I am planning on going into the medical field, so this section was extremely interesting. I loved learning how all of our cells interact and adapt and reproduce.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you need to put in a lot of effort in class and out of class. I would definitely recommend going to the free action tutoring sessions that the university offers. There is also another tutoring option called ZAP tutoring that is available almost every day. I also recommend spending at least two hours outside of class studying for every one hour that you spend in class.
