    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very beneficial course if you are interested in working with children and families in any capacity. Especially areas surrounding counseling or therapeutic situations.

    Course highlights:

various developmental milestones as well as ways to best interact with children at different points in their life due to the specific neurological and developmental stages.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be prepared to dig deeper on your own. I would encourage pursuing supplemental reading. Be mindful of your own pursuits and how this class would benefit you in your personal career goals and cater your assignments and projects around that as the class can be pretty general to child development as a whole.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an easy class, but I feel like there were important issues not discussed. If you need this class for your major, choose a different professor. If it's just required as a GenEd and you need an easy A, take this class.

    Course highlights:

Really interesting stuff, and the textbook is good. I learned a lot about what to expect of kids' temperament at different stages of their development.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen in class to what the professor seems to care about more because he picks and chooses for the exams.
