Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to any student aspiring to learn more. This class taught me aspects of grammar and writing that have helped improve my writing style and language usage. The professor was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions about the class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the weekly discussion posts, which helped understand the readings more thoroughly, as well as the MyLab that explained in more detail the areas that each individual struggled with.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to prospective students is to be prepared for the class with the materials needed and to be prepared to learn regardless of what you think you have mastered. Also, do not procrastinate, because it will effect your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have recommended this course to my friends. I took it as a concurrent online class my junior year. Overall it is an insightful course. I learned a lot about my grammar, became a much better writer, and read many interesting stories. The way the course is set makes it easy to lear. I was able to have my papers looked at by a professional before I turned them in for a grade which was very nice. If I had to take the class again, I would want to take it at ORU.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of grammar to start. It slowly progresses into more difficult grammar with questions about when are dashes and hyphens appropriate verses semicolons and commas. I learned how to structure my sentences better, use more vivid words to set a scene, and how to tie all parts of my story together to improve its flow from start to finish.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work when it first opens up and don't wait until the day it's due. Others may do this too and it will crash the system. They have no sympathy for this. Also, write your papers early so they can be evaluated more than once, improving your grade. Talk to the teacher about any problems as they are glad to help, and take the discussions seriously but don't be rude.
