    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would not necessarily recommend this course because it feels very high school level. Personally, when paying for a college class, I expect to be pushed and challenged and I do not believe this course offered that to me.

    Course highlights:

That is not to say that I did not learn anything from this course. It is a great course if you are interested in the history behind the different forms of media such as movies, newspaper, radio, and television. The beginning of the course, however, felt like a repeat of Oral Comm.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Super easy course. Don't expect much homework. Take some interesting tours of radio stations and TV studios.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Putman is excellent! I highly recommend her. Not only does she make learning fun, but she is excellent at what she teaches.

    Course highlights:

All about "channels" i.e., -newspapers -radio -recording industry -magazines -motion pictures -etc

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course! You will learn a lot you can use with practically any degree plan.
