Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to everyone! This class taught me how to better write essays and figure out what is needed to be said. Composition I is great to learn the basics on essays, journals, and even blogs. It was worth my time for sure!

    Course highlights:

Some highlights from taking composition I were learning what college professors expect when you are writing essays. I learned so much about how to plan an essay and cite my sources. With having a whole summer to learn everything, it was beneficial for me before I start my senior year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Something to keep in mind when taking this class is to check your email often to make sure due dates and announcements didn't change. Also, make sure that you have plenty of time to complete your work; there isn't much homework, but there are essays week. Timing is very important with this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Kindiger expects a lot out of her students but the literature we read gives us a better understanding of the world around us.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the pop quizzes. They were all oral and she threw suckers to us if we had the right answer. These tests were stress free and fun and we all learned more by this than studying out of the book for an hour long written test. During these quizzes not one question went unanswered and everyone participated, even the quiet ones.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS read the pages that Professor Kindiger gives you to read. you'll understand so much more and sometimes, she gives a 5 question quiz so if you don't read the stories, your grade will suffer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very helpful in my writing, and I got a lot out of it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of little things on how to tweak my writing to make it flow better. Sometimes the little things are most important.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students who are taking this course to set aside time to do the work or the reading. It may not sound like a lot, but much of what is required in the assignments took much longer than I thought it would.
