Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Who likes sitting at a desk and listening to lectures for an excruciating hour? I would recommend the Comp. I course at Redlands CC because Professor Hawk requires students to not only think outside the box, but perfect their writing strategies, all while having a blast!

    Course highlights:

My classmates and I were required to mingle among each other resulting in the meeting of my best friend and myself. Descriptive writing exercises were my favorite, because we were split into random groups and given a sentence to jazz up! Hands-on exercises make up most of the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend the student comes into the course with an open mind and a drive to succeed. Your point of view on many issues will be altered or you might be shown a different perspective on it! Do not be afraid to speak your mind and seek other solutions to problems!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took English Comp I online because I do better when I can work at my own pace, I would highly recommend doing English online with Professor Due.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything I needed to know for an English class. In high school I didn't learn much from my English teacher and this course took me back and taught me what I needed to know.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To just turn your stuff in on time, ask questions when you don't understand, and do your best. If you do all those things then you should be fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In the fall of 2016, I enrolled in English Comp I, with fear of not coming out with a passing grade because of my writing abilities. While taking this class, I bettered my abilities to write a strong essay. I highly recommend taking this class, Professor Davis was there to assist me with any questions I had, and I was able to improve my writing skills drastically!

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of skills to better my writing! I also, learned how to interact with my classmates over discussions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is tough, but if you put a lot of work into it, you will gain valuable life lessons.
